<p><i>Answer by A^2</i><br />Mediterranean diets consist mainly of lamb, potatoes, cheese, olive oil, bread, spices (such as cinnamon and caraway), and winter vegetables like green beans and carrots. Asian diets contain an array of vegetables (from cabbage to mushrooms), chicken, pork, beef, noodles, tofu, and chiles. I am guessing that the Asian diet would be a bit healthier because they refrain from eating dairy products, which contribute a lot of fat into one&#8217;s diet. Main similarity: both incorporate many herbs and spices into each dish.</p>

BEAT ALL ingredients together until well mixed. Form onto baking pan and flatten with fork (or finger, like I did). Sprinkle w/ granulated sweetner (I used Z Sweet). Bake for 15-23 min. (depending on your oven) until light brown. Allow to cool for 2 min. then remove to wire rack to cool. Store in ziplock bag. <p><i>Answer by Jus{hug}Me</i><br />We need Cholesterol for normal life health, but some people process cholesterol better through the system than others, so recommended for each person is different and all meats have cholesterol, just a matter of what meats you eat and how it is processed&#8230;I would have blood tests done too get a bottom line reading&#8230;your blood cholesterol, should be at 130 or below, but today they recommend 100 or below..but some people are very healthy at 200 or higher&#8230;lack of cholesterol can cause a heart attack&#8230;Iron would be the thing too watch, you need blood iron, but remember that blood iron is real iron and it rusts, which we call vascular calcification..(rusting of the blood vessels)&#8230;very few doctors will tell you this, so ask..most are busy selling Lipitor or Crestor or whatever, (which may be necessary), but proper diet and exercise is the key too low Cholesterol. My mother weighed 106 pounds and was healthy up too her death, (we are all going to die) and her cholesterol was over 300.</p>

<p><i>Answer by WittyWeasel</i><br />Too much cheese is bad for the heart, but the Mediterranean diet isn&#8217;t just cheese.</p>
<p>There is a lot of garlic, vinegar, olive oil, red wine, tomatoes, lean meats and fish which are all conducive to a healthy heart.</p>
<p>Also, the Mediterranean diet is generally free of the growth hormones so common in Western meats that are passed on to the consumer and are, in great part, causing the epidemic of obesity in America and Europe.</p>

<p>the main meals are during the day, with a two or three course lunch, often starting with a soup and ending with a light dessert, dinner is usually a large shared dish eaten later, around 8-10pm</p>
<p>its not just the meals its how they eat them and mix them, when starting a diet like this take into consideration the lifestyles that people usually have</p>
